Eduards Lazdins is a young and very talented jazz guitarist and composer from Riga, Latvia. His musical journey started at the age of 4, when he got admitted to the best music school in Latvia- Riga Cathedral Choir School.

At RDKS (Riga Cathedral Choir School), He studied classical music and sang in the world famous Riga Cathedral boys choir, with whom he had toured all over Europe long before graduation.

At the age of 12,  after seeing a famous latvian guitarist perform live on television, Eduards decided to pick up the guitar. Not long after, he found a growing passion for jazz music and decided to continue his studies at the Jazz department at RDKS. There he got the opportunity to study with the best jazz musicians in Latvia.

In 2017, during his first year at Riga Cathedral choir school`s jazz department, Eduards received the honor of „Best guitarist 2017 '' at an international competition called „VENTSPILS GROOVE” .

In 2019, Eduards released his debut solo album called „Moonbeams”. The album was recognized by Latvia`s jazz magazine „JAZZin”. A year later, In 2020, his composition „Dancing among the stars” aired on one of the biggest Radio programmes in Latvia. This composition was also included in the compilation album, featuring the best 12 Latvian current jazz musicians. The album is called „Jazz in Latvia 2020”.

In 2020, after a hard rigorous admissions process, Eduards got admitted to the very prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. To date, he has received 3 unique scholarships from Berklee for his outstanding academics and talent.
